Erica states that when she came to the Lighthouse in December of 2016 that she “had no idea how to be a functioning member of society. I had been out of touch with the real world for so long I didn’t have the tools to function properly in what seemed like normal situations.” The Lighthouse program allowed Erica to understand the plans God has for her life, helped her obtain those everyday living “tools,” and provided a supportive community that she continues to rely on since her graduation in June of 2017. Erica believes she was given “a second chance at life through God and this program.”
